For the task at hand.

The Zipp 303 has proven its worthiness through the gauntlet of spring classics like Paris-Roubaix and Ronde van Vlaanderen, but its victories there have not stopped Zipp from further refining their do-it-all wheelset. This Firecrest Carbon Clincher Wheelset features an upgraded 77 / 177 hubset that offers better bearing protection and durability all while needing less upkeep. The 77 / 177 spin freely without requiring a preload adjustment as they're already precision-set from the factory, and 17 mm axles provide superior strength. Redesigned hub flanges optimize the spoke geometry of the Sapim® CX-Sprint spokes for torsional and lateral stiffness, and the hubs clamp in place with updated ergonomic quick-release skewers that have a more streamlined shape that sits in line with your bike frame.

At the outer edge of this upgraded design, you'll find Zipp's all-rounder 45 mm-deep, 28.5 mm-wide 303 Firecrest rim still providing you with the best balance of aerodynamics, strength, and lightness for conquering any discipline, whether road, gravel, or cyclocross.

Spoke count is 24 rear / 18 front. Claimed weight is 1625 g. XD driver compatible (sold separately). Quick-release skewers, Tangente Platinum Pro Evo brake pads, Zipp Integrated Valve Extenders with valve-core wrench, and rim tape are included.

Great all around carbon wheelset

I like that they are a bit wider but this could be a problem for some frames. I'm not a climber but I still feel quick on them when I'm on a climb and they provide great aero benefits on the flats without kicking you around the road like a deeper set of wheels can potentially do. Very happy with these wheels.
