The XPRO 12 is French manufacturer Time's go-to road pedal thanks to its carbon body and titanium axle. Power transfer and stability are maximized with a large, 725mm-squared surface area.
The XPRO 12's bottom fairing was created to improve aerodynamics and protect the carbon blade. TIME's patented pre-opened ICLIC system allows for effortless cleat engagement. Tension adjustment on the carbon blade has three positions to precisely manage the pressure of the clamping mechanism. The stack height is low, which keeps the pedal lightweight with good pedaling clearance. The XPRO 12 uses an ultralight titanium axle.
ICLIC makes clipping off the starting line or off the stop light easy. Time's patented pre-opened pedal engagement system allows easy, secure engagement every time. Clipping out pre-opens the system for the next step in. All XPRO and XPRESSO road pedals feature ICLIC technology.

I am long time user of Time pedals, since first gen of ATAC mid 90s. I have Time on all of my 6 bikes. When it was time for next/new bike build/upgrade it was easy decision, I already used previous gen pedals( xpresso 10) and decided not pass little upgrade to XPRO12. It is great addition to my special CAAD10 which is just under UCI limit even with power meter. I found Time pedals reliable. I was informed that carbon blade likes to snap. I purchased few spare parts but after 4 years of usage they are still fine (minus bearing service) and never let me down.
Lightweight, very comfortable, and superb engagement. XPRO12 is an excellent spec for any super bike or dream bike build, definitely would label these pedals as top-notch state of the art.
