For The SRAM Force eTap AXS HRD D2 Shifter/Brake Caliper small changes can make a big difference. They optimized the Force AXS hood shape to provide increased finger wrap for more hand sizes, so you can stay secure sprinting for town lines, committing to the rut in a muddy CX race, or chattering down a long gravel descent.
What hasn't changed is the power and modulation of their acclaimed hydraulic disc brakes. Intuitive shift logic and easy-to-find shift paddles mean these controls, dare we say it, really sparkle.

The Sram Force AXS D2 shifter / calipers is definitly an upgrade from the current force and even the Red setups of which I have both on different bikes, one gravel and one road. I like the new ergonomics and feel as well as it seems they do exactly as described. If you are on a budget and don't mind the looks of the D1 model I say save some money and purchased one of the OEM kits available, if you like the looks and want the newest and slight improvements then get theses. Either way performance will be good.
