Dura-ace are some of the best caliper brakes made. My pads had worn down quite a bit and I didn't realize how bad they were until I put on the new brake pads. Like night and day. Easy to install. I have Mavic aluminum Kryserium SL wheels. Works perfectly.

Easy to remove from brake and reinstall. They provide great stopping power in dry and wet conditions. The design, channels away road grime from eating into the rims. I've been able to stop with speeds up to 50 mph with no problems on my Dura Ace brakes and pads.

Buy better brake pads for quality braking
by Colnago Master

Comparing to other brands, the Shimano Dura Ace pads work the best for much better reliable stops. They will skid the rear tire if too much pressure is applied. I bought many sets for back up. Always nice to have on hand.

My old brake pads lasted a long time. I may not wait as long next time because fresh rubber reinstills confidence. Best to stick with OEM quality.
