Pioneer's SGX-CA500 Touchscreen Cycle-Computer is a GPS, ANT+, and WiFi enabled unit designed to pair with Pioneer's crankset power meter systems. By using both a Pioneer crank-based power meter and the Pioneer SGX-CA500, Force Vectoring and pedaling efficiency are displayed to the rider in real time, providing invaluable data for getting the most improvement from training.
The 1.87” touchscreen makes for an intuitive interface to swipe screens or zoom in on data fields, but tactile buttons on the side ensure start / stop, lap set, and on / off are always easy to use when the touchscreen isn't convenient. 6 programmable screens with 16 different configurations give ample flexibility for customizing data, which include:
Heart rate (ANT+ heart rate monitor required)
Power max, left / right average, zone, watts / kg
Cadence (ANT+ cadence sensor required)
Atmospheric pressure (using built-in barometer)
Calories (with ANT+ HR monitor)
Di2 metrics including gear ratio, battery life, and cog selection
The built-in battery has a 12-hour run time, and when the ride is finished, easily upload files to Pioneer's own Cyclo-Sphere website or other analysis application using built-in WiFi or USB connection.
Includes: Handlebar bracket, USB cable, safety strap, and user manual. Unit measures 60 mm x 58 mm x 18 mm. Rated IPX-6 / IPX-7 waterproof. Claimed weight is 75 g. Functionality may be limited when paired to non-Pioneer ANT+ power meters.
