I have small hands and I need something to keep them warm when its below freezing. These are rated to -8 c, I think. They keep my hands warmer than my Giro Xentic gloves but my fingers still freeze when its below freezing, though after about 20 min of being cold, they start to warm up again. Not the best dexterity, but ok for gloves. Pretty good fit. I wasnt able to try the xs. I wear a size 6 glove and these have a little space at the ends of the fingers. The gel pad in the palm feels like a hard lump, not the most comfortable but I can live with it.
Second pair of these awesome lofty gloves. First pair wore out after 5 years of using them both for biking and xc skiing. Nothing but warm, dry hands during the cold wet rainy season of PNW.
