Be cold as ice.

Summer riding is a bit of a catch 22: long, sunny days tempt you out for a ride, but the temperatures are so hot you wait till the twilight hours to go out and play. With the updated Louis Garneau Men's Icefit 2 jersey, you can leave the heat behind and keep your cool while soaking in that summer sun.

Featuring updated Icefit 2 fabric throughout the body and back of the jersey, this antimicrobial fabric wicks away sweat and turns it into a cooling agent. Lightweight, breathable Icefit 2 Stripe mesh in the chest, sides and lower back gulp fresh air to cool you down while you're putting the hammer down. A reflective single-layer silicone gripper hem and arm band will keep this jersey from riding up or slipping around while simultaneously providing gentle compression.

  • Icefit 2 fabric provides antimicrobial moisture wicking.
  • Light Icefit 2 Stripe mesh is a durable, breathable mesh for increased ventilation.
  • Full-length zip.
  • UPF/SPF 50 protection.

I'm a radiator and I love it. Great on hotter rides or under a jacket in the springfall. I heat up on cool rides with my wind jacket, especially when climbing. Love the chest vents for a breezy climb with just one half zip of the rain jacket. Good summer jersey on its own or in combo with a jacket.

Very light and airy. A reflective accents. Bit tight in the arms.

Please treat this as a mere unboxing review. I bought this at the end of summer season and haven't had a chance to log proper miles with it so I cannot speak to durability. That said, on first impression, this is a nice Jersey. It's very light. The material on the bottom and arms will grip your shorts and arms well, keeping it in place. It has cooling vents all over the place. The reflective accents are very bright. The zipper seems well-built and is stamped ykk.

The pockets are medium-sized. They seem to have a tight elastic that should keep things in place.

Minor downsides 1) no zippered pocket for ids, credit cards, and cash, 2) an issue common with a lot of cycling clothes tiny arms! If you hit the weights this might be a bit too tight. It will probably stretch appropriately with time (cycling stuff usually does). For sizing purposes, I am 5'10, 199 LBS, been lifting weights for 24 years, and I bought a Large Standard.

This could be a 5 star item if it proves to be durable, but, again, I can't say because I haven't logged the miles.

Great Cycling jersey for the price and fit

I use this jersey on my road bike outing as it provides great comfort on long rides, fit and finish is great! Here in Hawaii we need good venting and for those rainy days, this jersey will hold up to the conditions here!

I typically ride mornings so have yet to be in extreme heat.

In any case, overall fit and feel is great on this jersey. The rear pockets sit at the proper height to be able to reach back and retrieve stuff as needed. The arm bands feel a little stiff but they stay in place and I think are reflective.
