The Fizik Antares Versus EVO 00 Adaptive is a new performance bike saddle with revolutionary 3D-printed padding, a high-modulus full carbon shell and carbon rails, offering a new level of comfort and support on your rides.
This saddle was tested with professional cyclists and amateur riders in both the Fizik labs and on the road. During each development phase, every iteration was carefully tested. A great deal of focus went into understanding how the pressure patterns change according to different bike geometries, riding positions, and riding styles.
The evolution of digital 3D printing has allowed Fizik to develop a new saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by traditional production methods and materials. The Adaptive saddle padding is crafted by Carbon using its revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process which uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution, and surface finish.
Using Carbon technology, Fizik engineers discovered an unprecedented opportunity: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, tuning each of them separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional zones is engineered with a distinctive cushioning and mechanical response, joined together progressively and seamlessly in the same padding.

I may be stating the obvious, but saddles are very personal. One saddle may fit one person very well, but no another person.
I bought. the Fizik Antares Versus EVO 00 Adaptive Saddle because I rode a stock Fizik Antares that came on a 2014 Cervelo R5. I have never had any issues with the stock Fizik Antares.
The Fizik Antares Versus EVO 00 Adaptive Saddle is lighter than the stock Fizik Antares and the reviews on youtube state that the Fizik Antares Versus EVO 00 Adaptive Saddle is more comfortable. So, I purchased the Fizik Antares Versus EVO 00 Adaptive Saddle.
After riding it, I have 2 comments: 1) I don't feel any difference in weight (75 g difference) when I am riding and my strava times are not any faster. 2) I don't really feel any more comfortable. It feels very similar to the stock Fizik Antares.
But it looks cooler. Will I return it. No, I will keep it as it is not bothering me. Will I purchase another one for my winter bike? No, I will use my stock Fizik Antares. Is it worth $300 US? No. Save your money and buy the stock Fizik Antares - unless you want to bling your bike out at the coffee shop.
Starting with what I would change. The 3-D webbing on the tip of the saddle grabs your bib leggings. I actually put tape on each side to alleviate the snag. Now it is perfect.
I really like the stiffness and how light the saddle is. It gives great control when turning and descending.
