Swim, Bike, And Run With Full Comfort

When adventure calls, be sure you have the gear to take you anywhere. Since clothes are your last layer of support and support while on the bike, high-quality garments are crucial. Make the most of your wet and dry rides with the De Soto Men's Carrera Tri Short, the ultimate short for all of your exploring needs.

The DeSoto Carrera Tri Short offers incomparable comfort and speed at an affordable price. These shorts are made of the Carrera™ Skin Fabric. This is an extremely lightweight, breathable, and moisture-wicking fabric that keeps its support and fit even when wet. There's a drawstring-elastic waist and an Invisipad™ chamois which is a quick-drying, thin, unobstructed, fleece chamois that offers support and comfort without the bulk.

Durable stitching makes these shorts reliable, race after race. A lack of leg gripper and mid-thigh inseam makes for added comfort when on the bike. The De Soto Men's Carrera Tri Short are designed for supreme comfort even when wet, though it is not recommended for repeated use in a chlorinated pool. When it comes to exploring the great outdoors, make sure these durable shorts are in your arsenal.

The best Tri Shorts for the money, no doubt.
    by Al Simmons

I use these shorts for training and for competitions. I swim, SUP, run and ride bicycle centuries with full comfort. The key points are the medium-high waist that keeps it above the hip bones, but not over normal shorts height. I remove the waist cord because it is not necessary. The elastic waistband is plenty. Fabric is a semi-gloss finish and very durable. I have bought 6 pairs over the last 7 or 8 years and I still have my first pair. I use the newer ones for races because they just look better, and the older ones for training. I have mediums, large and extra large. The tighter mediums are best for swim training, the large is good for everything, and I use the extra large for Yoga classes for a more relaxed look. The seat pad is a synthetic that does not chafe and stays cool. I add some lube to it only for Half Irons or longer events. Never needed any for training. I have tried shorts with padded foam and it is just too hot. The bulky feeling is not good. De Soto makes other shorts that are more expensive, and I have tried them. I keep going back to my Carreras. Hope they work as well for you.
