Inspired by NATO military shorts and US Postal summer pants, Chrome has made their Union Short to be functional and durable. With an updated slim fit and new urban cycling features, including secure back pocket, deep front pockets, and reflective logo, the Union Short works on the bike and in the bar. Gusseted seat and durable 4-way stretch fabric provide hours of comfort in the saddle or sitting on the grass. The Union shorts utilize Chrome's Everest fabric which is built to stretch with you when you're getting yourself into - or out of - all kinds of trouble. Third pair keeps improving
by Ride Dynamics

This is my third pair of these over several years. This pair cleaned up the rear pockets and added a nice touch in the reflective pocket. I think I could have sized down from their recommendation but I still like the fit and usually wear them with a belt anyway. They are warm for trail riding but great at just gettin' around and sittin' around.

Very comfortable shorts but also very expensive.

These shorts are very comfortable both on and off the bike, but I am disappointed that they are already starting to pill in the seat after only wearing them a few times.

Durable and flexible

I'm a tall guy and the shorts are a perfect length for me, they break just above the knee. The material is tough, yet flexible. I appreciate the zipper pocket in the back.

Excellent shorts, maybe not as durable as you want

It's tough to get stretchy fabric and durability - they sort of cancel each other out. That said, my Chrome knickers have lived through 10 years of beatings, so I was hoping these insanely expensive shorts would be the same. I'm not totally impressed. They're pilling after daily use of 1 month. I'm considering a return to Chrome. That said, if you don't care about pilling, these are excellent shorts, perfect fit, super comfy and great for riding.
