The DT Swiss Ratchet DEG DF Anti-Pedal Kickback System is an upgrade kit retrofittable to all DT Swiss Ratchet DEG freehub systems. DF technology releases the pedal kickback at the point where it occurs: in the freehub. This prevents unwanted chain pull during compression before it reaches the crank via the chain and negatively affects the rider. This results in improved downhill riding behavior with natural feedback from the trail and bike without the influence of unwanted chain pull.
