Portland Spring Class Duathlon. Juliet Hochman ran to a 1st place finish at the Spring Classic Duathlon this last weekend in Portland, OR. Here's a quick race recap:

"Just so glad it didn't rain!  It was great to see so many competitors out there, both novices and veterans. And it's always fun to to ride on Marine Drive when it's closed without any huge trucks sucking you into their vortex in the crosswind. It's beautiful out there!"

"In my race, it was a thrill to break 20 minutes for the first time on the first 5K. Thanks to the young man who unwittingly paced me for that first run. I still have a lot to learn on the TT bike...like riding a straight line in the wind! It was fun to see so many racers on the second run; that's the beauty of this course. Huge thanks to WHY Racing and all the volunteers and sponsors for putting on this great local race every spring."
