I recently purchased a matte black Giro bicycle helmet, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! The sleek, minimalist design looks sharp and modern, making it a standout on the road. The fit is spot-on, with Giro's adjustable ROC LOC system providing a secure, comfortable feel without any pressure points, even on long rides. It's lightweight yet feels incredibly sturdy, offering peace of mind with its top-notch safety features. The ventilation is fantastic'plenty of airflow to keep me cool during intense rides. The matte finish is not only stylish, but also resists scratches and smudges. Whether you're a casual rider or a serious cyclist, this Giro helmet is a perfect blend of form, function, and safety. Highly recommend!
I have to respectfully disagree with the person who said these run very small (at least in the small/medium range). My measurements are 12" at largest point of my massive biceps, my wrists are 7". Right between small and medium.
I've owned these in medium and gave them away because they seemed a little loose for my taste and seemed to be a little baggy/wrinkled at times.
I now own them in small and they fit perfectly for what I want. You have to fiddle with them to get them on but they aren't tight but they aren't wrinkled either.
I am moving from 2 decades of SIDI shoes, which have always worked out for me, however my foot has widened a bit with age and I was starting to develop some numbness I had not previously experienced. On recommendation I have shifted to the Lake shoe. It is definitely more roomy and so far good, but with my typical very thin sock they have more volume that I am used to. I am still working through that. Soles are rigid, material quality is high and the BOA has not been finicky and adjust well.
These are great lightweight gloves that like most Castelli products run slightly small.
I frequently use Pactimo products thanks to their discount program, but gloves are an area where their product is average. These Castelli gloves feel to be well manufactured, having survived multiple washes with no fraying threads, loss of color or cushion, incredibly breathable, mostly minimal padding (I strictly want gloves for sweat wicking). I love my Assos rsr gloves and I would say that the Castelli offering are a close second to them, and POC gloves a very close third. I will almost certainly buy more of these, unless those Assos rsr speed gloves go on a major sale. If you want thick gel gloves, these are probably NOT meant for you.
