I have these on my caad10 and have been using them for about 2 months. They do everything really well (climbing, braking, carrying speed, cross winds) to the point that I don't notice they're there. I guess that's what makes them great. I haven't used them in the wet so can't comment on that. Compared to the latest mavic cosmic pro sl, the braking on these feel a notch above or at least is less dramatic, which is a plus for me.
The hubs are really quiet when coasting
As I get older it is harder for me to keep up with the group I ride with. We are all looking for a means to get faster. The Zipp 303 NSW wheels Certainly makes me faster especially on the descents and flats. I think climbing is a wash, neither faster nor slower than before. The wheels look sharp on my black and red BMC . And as some of us believe, it is better to look good then to be fast.
These are solid wheels. They came out of true within the first week but after I had them fixed they have been great. They are fast. I need to give them some time to make sure the wheels stay true but overall , they are a nice wheelset. So much faster than a conventional wheelset. I paid a lot for these and really expected better quality control for such a pricey wheelset but I would likely buy from Zipp again.
I would have given a five star rating if i didn't have the issue.
Fabulous wheels, very easy to accelerate, very smooth and quiet (except for the braking noise, which I suspect is common to all carbon wheels). They catch others going downhill presumably due to low friction bearings. They let slightly more road vibration through than my old non-carbon wheels but I am definitely prepared to put up with that for the gain in responsiveness, control and smoothness.
