Easy to set up and pair with your phone. The Wahoo app gives you current, average and max HR, as well as a graph and GPS tracking & maps, plenty of stuff to geek out over. Very motivating for staying in the correct zone. Even though it's just heart rate only, for most people that is all the info they really need for $100 vs a $300 watch. It's already made a difference in my first workout, forcing me to stay in the zone the whole workout which I wasn't used to.
This is the 4th Wahoo Heart Rate Band Ive had, this is the 1st TRACKR. The band attachment is on the side, which is not as easy as the TICKR. The TRACKR doesn't always go into Bluetooth mode
I bought this HRM to replace a number of older HRMs, which had failed. The lesson here - at least to me- is that all HRMs eventually die. In this regard, the Wahoo TRACKR has performed well. One thing I think is a game-changer is that the unit is rechargeable - no more 2032's! So, so good for far with this HRM!
I use my heartrate monitor to train on a bike and like to do 80% of my training in zone 2.
I primarily use wahoo for computer, etc, and this strap is perhaps the best built item yet.
As spring comes, it's time to replace my old element computer, which I've had for many years ' last summer switched to 12 speed SRAM, and added Garmin varia, it was a pleasant surprise that the element supported these two new devices.
Very happy with the new strap.
I got this to replace a Wahoo Ticker that started having issues due to the battery compartment O-ring not sealing properly after 6 years.
I've got around 300 miles of bike use with it so far and couldn't be happier with it.
The only thing I don't like is the charging cable has a USB-C on the power supply end rather than a USB-A, so I need an adapter to charger it.
