Bought these gloves because I needed a pair of gloves that would be good in the rain and not too bulky. They are not bulky and you can have an easier time open and closing zipper pulls and tying shoe laces ect... As far as keeping you warm in cool conditions, not even wet conditions, they are worthless. They wick the heat from your hands and fingers. They do nothing for warmth at all. Used them on a cold 32 degree sunny day for a cyclocross race and I couldn't feel or use my hands because they were so cold. I used them to walk the dogs in the morning on a cool rainy day and I felt like My body was good and my hands were ice. I do not recommend these gloves for anything else other than gardening.
