I can use any brand liner with TLD shorts. The fabric dries quickly and the airholes keep you cool. The location of the rear pocket is important, the contents I put in it is never a nuisance. Having an adjustable waist band is also helpful. I have 4 pairs in different colors to rotate, they wash nicely with drip drying. No fading, no shrinking, will last for years.
