I needed an additional cassette for a second set of wheels. My setup is primarily Rival with a Force crankset. Since the weight difference does not matter to me, I saw no need for the extra expense to upgrade....this Rival cassette does everything I need it to do.
Purchased for second set of wheels with SRAM Force group. Saved a little money by going with Rival instead, works just fine.
Purchased this cassette 10-30 for use on the road with Sram AXS 1x. The close gear spacing work well with a 40 tooth chain ring. I live in the flat land so climbing gears are not needed. On the climbing trips I change out the cassette to 10-36 with a 38 chainring.
Run a 10-36 with a 48t 1x for my winter setup in Seattle. Shifts great and is quiet. No issues.
This was a cassette purchased for a road wheelset to be used on the road on a Trek Checkpoint with SRAM AXS setup.
All one piece and shifts great. A bit difficult to turn the lockring and may need some oil.
