Very happy with these bibs, like Sportful products so wanted to try the bibs, esp given the price on sale. . Although Sportful says to go one size up, i usually wear a size M in Pearl Izumi and size M in these shorts fits me well. Fabric feels supportive, chamois is comfortable, leg grippers are good, although leg length is a bit longer than i usually like. I use PI pro bibs for longer rides, these Sportfuls are great workhorse bibs. Like that they come in colors other than black, the red shorts are a deep beautiful red color, get a lot of compliments.
I purchased this bib to "test" their quality and comfort while riding. The Giara is the "entry level" or more cost effective bib that Sportful offered when I bought the bibshort. I have used them in short training sessions and long rides as well with no problems, chafing or discomfort at all. This a very good bib at a reasonable price. I do recommend this bibshort for training and mid range rides.
