I bought these specifically for riding in cold temps under 40f, and they make a noticeable difference. I was skeptical, since they are rather thin, almost like a normal sock, but I was surprised at how warm they are. They stay warm when wet also, which is a nice bonus. Highly recommended for those hardy folks who ride outside in the winter.

Regular SmartWool socks are some of my favorites for cycling in warm weather, and these socks are basically a thicker version, that's good for cooler weather, but not quite frigid weather.
Warm, soft socks. Not too thick, and not too thin. Great for winter riding. Fit is great due to the sizing, rather than one size fits all.
