I picked this up because I just wasn't satisfied with the usability of any of the multitools that I've used. This thing is great! While it takes more space to carry (I use my center jersey pocket) it's way more usable, and I love that the bits have super easy-to-read notations of the size in a contrasting color. I combined it with one of Topeak's little fixed torque 5Nm bits for tightening my bars if I hit a bad bump and they rotate.
This Silca T-ratchet works well and gets into some tight spots that other tools might not fit.
The ratchet mechanism seems a bit delicate but I only use it for small bolts and tight/close fitting applications.
I will be nice to have in the van as an emergency tool kit also.
I use this in my track bag for my track bike. It fits in a pocket within my track bag, and keeps everything together nicely and organized. The design is so nice (especially the bag) that I actually enjoy using the tools. I'm usually a sloppy person with tools, but this bag inspires me to put everything away neatly. I get a weird little pulse of pleasure doing so. Much easier to use than my tri-wrench in many circumstances. Plus-has some sizes I need not on my tri-wrench. I've had to disassemble and reassemble my bike for travel, and this is very useful for my seatpoast, seat, handlebars, etc. It has proven indispensable, as well as getting some admiring glances. I still use my park tools tri-wrench when changing chainrings.
A quality tool for bike adjustments and repair on the go. I keep this in my commuter bike bag and touring bike panniers. Prepared for most anything.
