I've been struggling to find an XC race shoe that fits my wide foot for years. I've always had to settle with my feet hurting, but these fit like a glove.
The gaiter/cuff is kind of annoying for a few reasons. It makes the shoes harder to take on and off, plus sometimes the fabric pinches/bunches near the bend in my ankle and isn't the most comfortable. Finally I can see this trapping heat and making the shoe hot around the ankle/top of the foot.
These gripes are minimal due to the overal comfort of the shoe itselt. Very happy with the purchase.
Extremely comfortable but also stiff and puts power down nicely right out of the box. BOA dial works smoothly and is extremely adjustable.
