Bought this for a 1x Lynskey GR300 build and it's got to be one of the best looking cranks out there. The look of a the 1x chainring and beefy crank arms just look indestructible. Besides looks, it has performed flawlessly for me.
The GRX crankset is great for road and gravel because it allows use of a much smaller chainring than other road cranks available today. It's reasonably light weight and affordable.
This crankset is light, rugged, and works well.
Bought this GRX crankset for gravel/ adventure riding. It have used XTR group set for mountain biking and have been very happy with Shimano durability and performance. The GRX components do not disappoint! Recommended.
Used a 1x11 40T crank with SRAM 1x11 group because the SRAM 1x11 crank ugly and prefer Shimano Hollowtech 2 axles. GRX 1x11 stock options are only 40T or 42T. In the end I used an older Shimano 5-bolt 110bcd crank with a brand that offers matching 1x rings ranging from 36T to 50T. Max versatility, not as slick looking, but always dirty when in use anyway. I would certainly use the GRX 2x11 cranks and keep the whole groupset GRX.
Easy to install and set up. Wider Q-factor ideal for larger, heavier riders. Gearing works great for riding in local trails around Central Florida.
The usual Shimano high quality. Perfect for my gravel bike build.
I installed this crank set on my BMC Roadmachine. Everything worked great. This thanked me to unlock the potential for spinning in those higher gears
Got this to have a shorter crank on my gravel bike. It is 1x GRX setup. Crank has been great so far no issues
The GRX cranks are perfect for gravel. Great quality, low gearing and low weight. It's a trifecta!
