Allows you to use older 9/10 cassettes on higher capacity 11-speed Shimano rear wheels
These come with some mountain cassettes so you can put them on a road hub. Don't forget to check your box or the listing for the cassette. Just buy one of these in case you lose it when you remove the cassette for service.

I for long tours, I like to run a sturdier 9 speed set up but my DT swiss wheels have an 11 speed freehub. This fit perfectly between the cassette and hub and let me run the system I wanted to without buying a new wheel or freehub.
My new Astral wheels have White Industries T11 Hubs. This 1.85mm Spacer is just what I needed to run my 10-speed cassette perfectly.
Got a new set of wheels and needed to put my 10 speed cassette on the 11 speed hub. Spacer was perfect!
