The conversion of the pump and wheels from Presta to Clik valves was quick and simple. The Clik valves work smoothly losing no air when connecting or disconnecting the pump head when inflating tires. It's a little thing, but it makes inflating tires easy with no worry about bending the valve core.
These work great and are a great replacement for the presta they replaced. Be wary of psi difference needed to inflate to open the valve when measuring your pressures at the valve, if you have an internal pressure measuring device then it won't matter. More brands are starting to support Clik as a standard. The only downside is that the valve/dust covers are not compatible with normal screw on, but are snap on. So if you have fancy or color matching valve caps/tools you can't use them unless someone 'makes' an adapter.
I was skeptical about changing the presta valve. It has worked since the 1890's without much change. I bought the cores to prevent clogging with tubeless sealant. So far the valves have worked flawlessly. No sealant clogs, no leaks. The pump head worked better than I had expected too. It just clicks on and I dont have to toggle anything and it gets a tight seal. I've been using these for about three months and they have worked like new every time I pump up my tires. I plan on getting these cores for all of my wheels. Luckily they are not too expensive.
