It's a tube. It holds air. I buy a bunch when there is a sale. As advertised, hope not to use em, but if I need to, I know I'll be rolling home.

value priced, the stem thread is easy on inflation bladder, no problem with valve, hold air well (only a single pump every other day) and have yet to flat. Recreation ride @ 180-240 mi./wk., not used for racing or intensity rides.
