my only criticism, and it 's a nit, is that it is hard to put them on. The grippy stuff on the inside of the legs grips your feet.
they don't slide on easily like most shorts.
But the pad is perfect, for me.
I have tried many different brands, these Pearls are my go to bibs. Comfortable, light weight and well made, I love them.
Comfortable and nice looking while new, however short material faded and early signs of wear in saddle area!
Tried numerous brands, always come back to these. The best quality, and each generation gets better.
I'm 165 and 5'10" and bought the medium. Great fit, and the unfinished edges are very comfortable. Wide straps that are also unfinished are almost unnoticeable. Compression at legs is goldilocks right and makes sure they stay put.
Bike most every day. Great product and is comfortable.
true to size fit, very comfortable on long rides, very light weight. I only buy Pearl Izumi bike pants...
Good fit, very comfortable, like the laser cut cuffs and suspenders
I was looking for a new bib for riding as my others had worn out. These are extremely comfortable, lightweight and durable. I will probably order another pair of them when they go on sale again.
Got this as a gift and tested it out in 90-degree weather on a 66-mile ride. Everything about the bib short was perfect. Just enough tension in the suspenders to keep the chamois in place, without pulling down on the shoulders. A very thin, minimalist design breathes easy. Overall you just don't notice the bib while you're riding.
Used for serious road riding. At six foot one the bibs are plenty high through the waist and fit extremely well. Leg grippers do not curl or ride up. Material is very comfortable although the durability will remain to be seen over the long run. So far, I'm very happy with the bibs. Ordered a second pair.
If you are into riding long distances and want comfortable padding and shorts that are well constructed then the Pearl Izumi PRO bib shorts are what you need. The gel in the bottom of the legs prevents the shorts from riding up when you pedal. These shorts are worth if the extra expense.
PI has really upped their game last couple years. The P.R.O. Bibs and jersey are my new favorites. I like them better then the more expensive options from the Euro brands. They disappear after I put them on.
Decided to try a pair of these as an upgrade to the Pearl Izumi Elite bib shorts I have been wearing. The fabric is lighter, the seems are smoother and the chamois quality are all upgrades to the Elite model. I will be buying these moving forward, as it has allowed me more comfortable rides and easier back to back training days.
Purchased late in the season, so not a lot of saddle time in them. Compared to other bibs purchased earlier this year, they're the best quality material and most comfortable. Haven't always been a Pearl Izumi fan, but these shorts are definitely worth the investment.
After a bunch of different shorts ...and thinking I needed a new saddle....I put these on and I realized I did not need a new saddle..I just needed better shorts. Now I wear these for MTB riding every time I am out.
I like the quality of it. I like the fit, I'm 6 foot one 200 pounds and I got a large. The only thing I have a problem with is the chamois surprisingly it's too thick. I'm thinking I have to ride more and break it in or maybe I'll try it on my mountain bike Because it does provide a lot of cushion.
I am 6' 6". These are long enough in the torso. The chamois is excellent. I like the leg length. They are very comfortable even on a 5 hour ride. I'm really happy I bought them.
Great product and fast service.
Purchased on sale I think these are a very good deal. I'm typically a med in PI and these fit well and are extremely comfortable. The legs don't ride up and the shoulder straps are wide and don't twist or get bunched up.
