I bought 2 of these, one for the house and one for the garage. I'm lazy and don't feel like running in and out finding the tapes when I'm doing bike builds. I can't believe how smoothly these tapes glide when you pull them out of the housing. Smoother than my framing tapes for sure. But, most importantly, they are consistent. I appreciate accurate, but I need consistent, and I grabbed a bunch of stuff and measured it, and both tapes yielded the same number, so I was good to go. Great value, and great product.
I really like the feel of the Tape Measure but the blade is too delicate and will crease too easily. For the bike room it is ideal but do not leave it around to be used like a standard tape measure. The housing is classy and has a good feel to it.
With this cool gadget you don't need to worry about getting the you dumb ass sneer from the tatooed wrench with the huge earlobe holes and peircings when you tell him you want a longer stem. No longer need you shuffle embarassingly under the condescending gaze of that leather apron, knicker and knitted skull cap-clad expert trying to describe how you measured carefully and your stem is exactly 4 and 12 and you need one just another 38 - 1332 longer so you can really get aero, hammer on and bust the chops of those dudes in the fancy kits and foreign cf bikes for the win in the weekly sprint to the stop ahead sign. This nicely sized and readable metricenglish Park tool measuring device doesn't feel cheap and gives you to the confidence to speak mm's like an expert (without needing more, tatts, peircing, aprons, knickers, skull caps, fancy kit OR new bike)!
