My wife and I each have several bicycles, with frames and components made of various materials, including steel, aluminum and carbon. As I'm tasked with performing routine maintenance on all of our bikes, I wanted a lube that would be safe and effective to use on all of them. This was recommended by the mechanics at our local bike shop. I liked that it was available in a size that fit nicely in my portable toolbox. I also like that I can neatly squeeze out only as much grease as I need. The 4 oz. tube is conveniently sized and should easily last me several years.
I use this on the threads of my through axles and peddle threads on both my road and MTB. It makes removal much easier and helps achieve the right torque easily. Tube is convenient for application. It is a little pricey compared to some other lubricants I have used. A tube lasts a long time though and its good to know that this is fine for carbon use.
Great grease for general purposes, it is all I use for general greasing on bicycles.

I like this product more for the container...rather than a tub of grease that becomes a mess, or contaminated by the open lid, this can put grease right on the threads or wherever it's needed.

The lube is a quality lubricant and the performance is great when using it on your bike components. Park tool is a reputable brand that exceeds other manufacturers' industries in tools and lubricants for bicycles.
When doing my first ever (I've done two now) pedal change on a bicycle I was told to use this product. It seems to help the pedal screw in smoothly and easily. I recommend cleaning the crank first as it seemed to have residue from the original installation as well as some other grime. I don't think my incredible shop would give me bad advice.
It's just something you need to have in your toolbox!
