Simple, reliable tool for roadside repairs
by zbird

There's not much to say about this item. As can be seen in the pic, it's a solid piece of metal with six tools along the edges. Does an effective job at basic roadside repairs, although you won't have every size allen bolt you need, particularly if you're on the road with your kids and their bikes along with your own. Also the length of the item can get in the way of screwing or unscrewing a bolt - meaning you might only be able to turn the bolt 20 degrees at a time. That being said it's a quality, reliable, simple tool and I expect it will last a lifetime.

Best small, light multitool. Have one on each bike.

This is my favorite bike tool. I keep one on each bike, sometimes just taped on with electrical tape so it's there when you need it. Able to handle almost all on-road adjustments.

Fantastic tool

I carry this in my bags for my gravel bike and my road bike. This is all the tool I need. It sits flat so it doesn't take up much space.

Compact, investment-cast multi-tool great for a tool roll

Before this, I carried around a set of folding hex keys. That worked well enough, but was a little heavy, so I replaced it with this little guy. Fits all the stuff I need to get to in a pinch, although the hex keys on the sides can be annoying in a tight spot (say, brake shoes right next to the seatstays and fenders) because the body of the tool gets in the way.

Best tool ever
by Anonymous

I have one of these and only this as my tool on four bikes. It doesnt do everything but it covers most needs and weighs little compared to most multi-tools

Needs to be built better.

The tool is too small for average hands. The structural integrity of the metal is questionable. Reason being is that I had the tool in my bike bag, and some pieces chipped off the flat head end. Not good.

After looking at several multi-tools and their reviews, I decided on this one because of it's simplicity. There is only one piece to the whole thing so I don't have to worry about anything coming apart or loose. Plus, I can quickly see which head I might want to use without any opening and closing.

Light and useful

It's a great tool to have with you when you're riding alone or in a group. It fits into all the screws and bolts on your bike and is extremely light. You don't even know it's there with my extra tire. So if my bottle cage screws need adjusting, or my seat post and seat need adjusting, or I need to remove my non quick release thru axles, I have this tool that can do it at no weight penalty.

I carry this when I'm racing triathlon, for peace of mind and to keep Murphy away. Small and light, it goes along with my flat repair kit. I also carry it when I'm cycle touring, along with a larger multi tool. When you need to do serious repairs on the road, sometimes you need tools in each hand.

best lightweight mini tool

I've owned a few mini tools in my day and bought this one after one of my friends showed me his. What makes this better than any other mini tool is it's LIGHT WEIGHT! It fits better in back jersey pockets too. Doesn't have as many tool options but it gets most any job done when you're on your own out there.
