I bought these as my on-road tire option for my gravel bike. I bought the 35 mm wide version, but mounted on Reserve 40/44 wheels they measure close to 40 mm. Still very fast rolling and supple feeling, and confidence inspiring on twisty paved descents. I love them, except I get repeated punctures on the rear tire ' sometimes self sealing (I'm using Orange Seal), but about 4 times over the last year I've needed to insert a plug. It's enough of a problem that I'm looking to replace at least the rear with a sturdier option.
Since I ride mostly on roughish paved roads with occasional trips into gravel, I thought these might be just the ticket. So far so good, no flats which was an issue I had with Tufo Speederos.
