I'm a serious cyclist with numerous centuries under my belt. I needed an upgrade and this was it. I've put more than a hundred miles on this bike since I purchased it, both short and fast commutes as well as a century ride. The disc brakes are very responsive and quiet, and easy to deal with come wheel removal time. The frame is light and responsive without being too stiff. The grips are well padded and of a larger diameter which is more comfortable even for my small hands. I questioned the wider tires at first, but they provide a comfortable while efficient ride, I can even manage a little off-road travel. The shifting is snappy, although a little loud, but that may change over time. I'm still adjusting to 2 chain rings instead of 3, but the gear ratios seem to provide all the range I need regardless of incline. For a brand I was unfamiliar with, I am more than satisfied, especially for the price.
