Put these tires on my cross bike. I no longer compete but use the bike for casual surface street rides.

Went with Protec 38 mm 700c but sidewall stated it was rated 40mm. Not sure why some manufacturers ocassionaly do this, but caused no clearance issues on my Sirrus Elite Carbon. This Protec 3840 tire is a replacement for the factory 30mm. A nice improvement on tar & chip, light graveldirt and rougher streets. They give up a little speed to the previous Specilized 30 Espoir but not a lot. I like this tire and the size is a good match for my fitness and city adventure riding style.
I wanted to make my mountain bike more road based for commuting and these tires did the trick. The original tires had 2.2-2.0 tires on them and the rims worked well with the 40mm I purchased.
Very nice tires and very smooth quiet ride. No issues with punctures as of yet and got about 600 miles on them. Great tire all around.
Ride on nyc streets mostly all boroughs ride these tires on Erie Canal across my state and on Allegheny trail from Pittsburgh to Washington DC without a problem they last me about a year and I change them every year
Put these on a Bianchi Volpe for an occasional 20 mile commute to work. so far they're 400 miles into use and still running just fine. Coasting on the Volpe has greatly improved, tread handles fairly well on dirt trails as well. would defiantly recommend as a great inexpensive tire.
Great tire, nice tread pattern and rides well. Safety reflective strip on sides. Great for the commute.
It was good to find a tire that is pliable and durable
This is a fine tire and it's not made in China. Delivery was prompt and on schedule. I installed it myself (1st time I've done that) and saved lots of money.
Very dependable tires, especially when you ride in cities where the streets are full of of potholes, you feel more confident and let the stress out, knowing that your tires are puncture resistant. So far, so good. I use these tires mostly on the trail, and I am very happy, good traction.
I use protek both front and back on my Giant Hybrid bike. I am a daily rider on gravel and pavement, 80% gravel rail-trails
I purchased these tires for my workers that utilize only a bike for transportation. They a very reliable and the reflection adds another safety feature.

no one helped. Would not recommend the tire. Very disappointed. Please do better for your customer in the future.
Have ridden daily since receiving tires. These tires have performed superbly,and immensely increased my cycling enjoyment
I ride 22 miles per day on the street for exercise. Rarely miss a day. Protek tires last me about a year, maybe even a little longer. I like the reflective belt on the sidewall. Rarely get a flat and usually it's because I'm using the tire past it's replacement point ( I tend to run them kinda bald...)
I have not had a chance to test the durability but the tire looks good and I really like the reflective stripe on the side. Excellent price!
The tires arrived on time and they fit well. This is my first set of puncture resistance tires. I'm looking forward to many flat free miles
