With the transition to Thru-axle as the new standard and for those of us that have bike with QR's, these are a great option. I have a 2018 Supersix EVO that has a thru axle for the front and Quick Release for the rear wheel. Great to have Mavic back in the US. They still allow end cap compatibility for for QR. I love my old Vision wheelset, but they no longer provide end caps for QR. Neither Shimano, ENVE or other popular brand, all do not have QR caps. They are also very stiff wheels and perform great. Couldn't be happier.
Purchased these wheels to replace a stock set of OEM alloy wheels on an endurance road bike, and immediately noticed the impact. Immediate engagement from the ratchet hub, and fast to spin up.
They are not the lightest 42mm wheelset, but the price to performance ratio cannot be beat.
