By the time you read this light technology may have advanced to the point that this light is obsolete, It is bright and lightweight, and it attaches to gopro mounts that are unobtrusive when the light is not on the bike. It really is a great light!
This was the third L&M front light I bought, and I've actually bought ONLY L&M front lights. This olive-green beauty is easy to mount, swivel into position, turn on and cycle through brightnesses, and recharge. The color alone seduced me in an instant, but I forced myself to (as always, on multiple websites) read reviews extensively for this and all models before buying, and found lots of praise and raves, and nothing to scare me off. I have not organized myself to note precisely how many hours I get from a charge, but generally find that this light lasts through several hour rides before needing recharging. It is truly bright, a fact attested to impolitely by a few other snarling cyclists on Manhattan's Hudson River Bike Path. However, damn the torpedoes! - NYC's urban flotsam of potholes, asphalt fissures, and dubious debris my great desire to avoid pitching headlong to the pavement warrant lots of light, and this baby is part of my armamentarium.
Best light I have ! Everything works GREAT, beam pattern, buttons,.brightness, charging and mounting ! Compact and light. Charge flap is flimsy but does the job.
Both drivers and pedestrians have no trouble seeing me approach. In fact, I have noticed an increased level of courtesy extended to me as I approach intersections and crossings. I especially like the pulsing mode. The LED charge indicator is a welcomed feature.
