This is a pretty good light. I often bike before the sun rises, so the 1200 lumens is extremely helpful and shows wide and far enough. It wont last my entire ride (might last 2 hrs at 1200 on a good day), so as soon as the sun is up I switch it to another setting to preserve battery. It is pretty heavy so if I only need a light to be seen during the day I usually take a different one. I would prefer a mount that I can click it onto the bike, but the srap has held up quite well. I expected it to be stretched and not stay in place, but after a month of using it, it has held up well.
My first super bright light so I've little comparison. It's so bright that I've offended pedestrians on Hawthorne bridge. The strap takes a little more effort but it's not that bad. The battery hasn't died on me. The options for brightness are convenient but I wish it had another flashing option that was faster.
