I haven't had to use this on the side of the road or trail, but it seems to work pretty well in my testing. Especially impressive is the way it feels in your hands despite the small size. It'll easily fit in a cycling jersey but I tend to keep it in my top tube mounted bag as it's the perfect length.
This is a nicely designed pump that I take on gravel rides and bikepacking trips. I also carry a couple of CO2 cartridges for quick use. I like the fact that you can use this pump for presta and shrader valves.
Have had this pump installed on a touring/gravel rig for about 600 miles. Filthy conditions do not contaminate it, it attaches easily and reliably to tire valves, and inflates much more quickly than other (older) hand pumps I've used. Bringing a 400mm wide 700cc tire to 40psi from 10psi takes under a minute of pumping.
This is my second Lezyne pump, and this one seems to work just as good or better than the high pressure Lezyne pump I have for my road bike. I especially like the fact that it has a hose to attach to the valve. This prevents the rocking back-and-forth motion you get with a standard frame pump that doesn't have this feature. Nicely machined and fits well in its water-bottle mounted holder.
