online description says its a bike lock for low crimes but the packaging says its only for accessories.
I was very disappointed in this product. It doesn't work very well and doesn't allow you to reset the combination. Very poor quality product.
This lock fits very nicely into a pocket, and offers a reasonable level of security in places where serious thieves are not about. My only complaint is that the barrel seems to position itself in such a way that the line to which the combo is dialed is hard to see. Maybe it works better for lefties?
I wanted something light weight. I didn't need a super secure lock, just something to keep a kid from doing a quick grab, for example. This is strong, but light weight. Exactly what I needed.
Not going to keep your bike safe from someone who is really out to take it, but will add a little security from the person looking for a free ride. 4 numbers are easy enough to remember. Much easier and lighter to carry than the real secure locks.
