600 miles (so far) and no issues. Pretty much as I would expect from a Kendra tube.
Great product. Perfect for my tires. Worth it to get peace of mind on the road.
Price is right, and while they're not the lightest tube in the world, I've never encountered one with a defective seam or valve, and the thicker rubber gives you a little longer to dig that glass out of your tire. When I do get a flat with one of these, I patch it .. I have several of these Kenda tubes in my spares box with 6 patches in them.
It's a tube...it works. This is my tube of choice. I do some work for several friends and a non-profit so I do more tire and tube work than the average person. Never had problem with them. Reasonable price, always in stock, good value.
So far so good - I've been riding since November on icy winter streets with Kenda Klondikes.
Know how I know? It holds air for a lot longer than the racing tubes.
I ride 25 miles/day, rail trails and roads, weather permitting. With these tubes and Schwalbe Marathon 700x28c tires I have a nearly unbeatable combination for hogh mileage durability.
I've found the Kenda tubes to be very reliable-no problems.
Tube really fits well. Some brands of tubes appear to be larger then necessary. That adds weight and makes it harder to replace the new tube.
Quality looks good and it went right in.
I was unable to get air in either of the two tubes purchased. I removed the valve core and tried again without any luck. the valve stems appear to be completely blocked. when you have a flat, this is not what you want!
I buy tubes in bulk because of local markups, and because I used to go through them once or twice every couple weeks. After purchasing GatorSkin tires from Germany and these decent tubes from Kenda, I have had fantastic results. It is not certain which factor (or both) was the solution to my problem, but I can say that these Kenda tubes go in well, and have a very helpful knurled (cross-hatched threads on outside for good finger traction) retaining ring to thread down on the stem, removing any shift motion under load. This will have to be finger-tightened from time to time as you ride. They're packaged to fit easily into a cycling bag, and have classy black caps, although I'll miss my ostentatious neon green caps from my cheap tube supplier. (those tubes broke cooooonstantly). These durable tubes are good for any level of cyclist, amateur or professional. (And I take my road bike some places it really shouldn't go)
I have only good things to say about Kenda tubes. And the polished finish on the smooth stem really looks sharp and saves wear and tear on my pump.
1500 miles on these tubes and no flats. Previous tubes of the same brand flatted weekly near the stem, but those were made in China and didn't seem to have the same manufacturing quality. These tubes are made in Taiwan and quality is so much better at stem - smooth and well assembled. At this price it's a great deal!
Pretty standard tube, overall happy with purchase and would buy again
I've been running the smooth valve stem versionI like the clean lookfor a few years and thousands of miles on my road bike. If they're a bit heavier, who cares. Unlike my buddies, I rarely flat. Highly recommend these for the price, stem options, and durability.
Good all round tube for road biking 700cc
The only issue i have is sometimes the pump flys off the end of the presta valve at higher psi. I have not had this issue with the threaded version of the same product.
Hardy tube for general training
Finally switched brands and they are perfect now
I like these tubes for general use , but also they are available in short Presta valves which look correct on vintage rims.
Hi,
