Only problem is that bill wont flip up when you dont want the sun protection. Great headed East in the morning.
Love this hat. Brim long enough to keep the rain off the glasses. The fabric does a great job of dealing with rain or sweat. And the fit over my dome is ideal.
This is a great cap for warmer weather. I love it because it does a good job of absorbing sweat on hot rides, without being thick or bulky underneath a helmet. The fabric is soft and comfortable. I also use it for trail running in as a sort of sweat band with a little sun protection.
It took me a while, over the years, to find the right cap to use under the helmet. Some were too thick, some the bill was too long or short. This absorbs sweat well, keeps your head cool. Looks good too if you keep it on off the bike.
Giro nails the headgear again with this cap. Synthetic fabric breathes well and air dries quickly after washing, The brim gives a little cover from sun glare and raindrops without hindering your vision. The elastic is lightweight and doesn't irritate my head where the cap interfaces with my helmets' retention hardware. The brim has reflective piping on its edge for added night-riding safety. And the aesthetic-solid color with big stripe down the middle-is simple and classy. How could you ask for more in a cap?
Being follically challenged, this cap was exactly what I was looking for. I have to wear something on my head under a helmet otherwise, it gets completed fried. It is very lightweight and fits perfectly under a helmet.
I have a bald head and wear a size small Giro helmet. Sometimes those "one size fits most" cycling caps are loose on my head, but the Giro Peleton Cap fits me well and is very comfortable. In windy conditions the cap stays put with the bill up or down. The material is also very breathable and provides good sun protection (which I need).
These hats are wonderfully light, fit well under a helmet, look good without a helmet, and have the added bonus of having reflective piping on the edge of the not-too-bignot-too-small brim. The titaniumflash charcoal variety actually has a full reflective upper brim on the top side. The bottom sides of the ones I have bought are all dark no matter what the upper color is, providing better eye protection from glare and sun. Have bought a bunch and given them to my riding siblings, they were much appreciated and well liked. I'm getting more for spares.
This cap fits great under a helmet, a must for gents who lack hair on top! It's not much of a sweat grabber, but seems it's hard to find a product that mixes both catching sweat and good looks.
...and that doesn't look dumb. I throw it in the wash with the rest of my kit after a few rides and it comes out good as new. Dries quick and packs small.
Very nice cap for the warmer days. Doesn't retain too much sweat and very breathable. The brim is just the right length, not overly short like the description states.
Nice and it will be great this summer in the Arkansas heat since it's light and breathes really good.
Great hat. Works well in the Florida heat.
Does its job well, fits good and my main reason for purchasing is to keep sweat out of my eyes and it does that to my satisfaction.
Great cycling caps. Arrived promptly and as described by seller. Made of wicking material not cotton. Fits well and at a great price. Can't go wrong with these!
Not hot at all in this TEXAS heat, actually helps cool down the noggin. Use it for road riding to protect from sun and heat. Love the cooling effect. Gets dirty quickly
Helpful for air flow and wicking, but when the heat & humidity are high it will still be soaking wet with sweat just like any other cap etc... I purchased two last summer and got a third one this summer and two more for a riding buddy of mine. These are easy to hand wash and dry which saves the shape of the brim.
Great cycling cap. Sweat band could be more substantial though. On extremely hot day, sweat gets in my eyes.
I chose the lightest colorful due to the fact that I live in Tucson,Az. it's great for keeping my head cool now that it is officially steamin'hot! I also wanted to just protect my hair from the sun which it does well. I love the fact that you can flip up the front flap if you want to and I have yet to have it blow off my head, we get some pretty strong spring time winds too.
It's a good a hat, get yourself one.
