This is my 2nd pair of these shoes and I worry they will discontinue! They are light weight, but provide a stiff platform for maximum power to the pedal. They are also well ventilated to keep your feet cool in the summer.
Boas are sturdy and easily adjustable on the fly. Inside of the shoe is grippy in a good way to maximize power transfer. Only ridden in Southern California winter so far and aerates feet well, never cold if wearing the right socks. Really pleased with my purchase.
If the shoe fits ! I've used Giro shoes for several seasons. Why? Because they fit well, which will not be true for everyone. However if the last matches up with your foot profile then they are well worth considering.
The Imperial shoes are light, but rigid. They afford great ventilation and have superior transfer of energy to the pedals.
Lightweight, breathable, firm carbon sole, precision fit, accommodating toe box...best road shoe I have yet to wear.
