I have been using this one-step cleaner/lubricant for a few weeks, and it does help to get the grime off the chain pretty well. It has a consistency almost like water, so it will fly off if you crank the chain backwards too fast. It does leave behind some lubricant after you wipe away the cleaner. The regular wet lubricant does a better job of lubricating the chain though. It's a good product if you are in a hurry and don't have time to do the whole chain removal and cleaning and rinsing and lubricating etc.
This works ok but the viscosity is very thin and the fluid is clear. These too things make application difficult and hard to tell which links you've applied it too.
Wolf tooth chain lube is far superior as a clean and lube product
Perfect for on the go anytime you need to relube while riding any terrain
I like the clean and lube one step products as they make maintenance for daily commuting much simpler. This lube performs well and does not gunk up.
