This is a great accurate scale. Just hang from a nail on the joists in my basement ceiling and was able to weigh all my bikes by hanging on bike seat.
It is just a scale, and it weighs things, but that a little oversimplifying things. It easy to use with a bike stand or suspending from overhead. It is simple to use and accurate (at least it seems to be), and cover a wide range of weight.
Put the scale in a bike stand. Hang bike, learn weight. Try not to spend too much on lighter parts-you can cut weight off your midsection less expensively right?
For the bicycle enthusiast who always wanted to know their bicycle weight, etc., here is an inexpensive and accurate way to perform this chore. Easy to set and use, it is highly recommended.

My first bike scale was the Ultimate Direction hanging scale and it lasted well over 12 years. I replaced with this one which is the same company just new name. I would recommend it to anyone.
