I've tried them all. My search is over. I will try different kinds of chain lube but I won't even THINK of using anything else. After using this stuff I gave my tubes and jars of unused chamois cream away.
It goes on thick and stays where you put it. No mess, no fuss It lasts through road races and long training rides. If I had a 100 miler I used to carry a little tube filled with chamois cream just in case. With Buttonhole there is no need. It lasts all day. It washes off in the post-ride shower.
For some unknown reason, I started developing saddle sores - not fun. Tried this based on a recommendation at my LBS. This is a better deal and works just as well as the more expensive competitor's product that starts with an A (I've used that one and it also works well). The ButtonHole cream is non-greasy and the smell doesn't bother me. Works great - I'm a permanent convert.
...she & her friends swear by it. It's become a stocking-stuffer at our house!
Based on another review, I decided to try this chamois cream. It has worked as well as the more expensive cream that comes in the same kind of jar and you do get more for your money
Having used quite a variety of chamois creams over the years (Chamois Butt'r, DZ Nutz, Assos, Beljum Budder) I can say without a doubt Enzo's is my new favorite. It is thicker than almost any other, and seems to be able to last on long rides quite well. I probably end up using too much of it; a little goes a long way with this cream. Does not give me any skin sensitivity issues, unlike the latest Assos cream that seems to give me a mild case of dermatitis after using it for a few months.
I tried Enzo's and then tried another brand of chamois cream. After that hands-on comparison, I purchased more of the Enzo's. The thing I like about Enzo's is that it is more water soluble than the other brand.
It works for me--it definetly helps prevent sores.
I prefer this product to most on the market. Longer lasting than most.
I've tried numerous chamois creams and found this stuff to be the best. Butt'r is too greasy and caused some major post-ride itching for me after a few months of use. DZ Nuts is good, but a bit too pricey for me. Button Hole is smooth, not too greasy, and has just the slightest tingle down below to let you know it's working. Plus, it's a good deal for the quality you get. I highly recommend it.
This is a great product. I have used Assos, That Butt Stuff, & Paceline.
I bought this because I had an allergic reaction to TBS cream that I bought.
I like this because it is all natural and there is no animal testing.
For the price you get more than Assos for the same price & same quality product.
It is thicker (more viscous) than most chamois creams out there, so it doesn't disappear quickly. Plus, it does have a cooling sensation which I like but others may not. I think the price is worth it if you have sit boneseat issues as I do.
Wprks as advertised. Not too goopy easy to spread on the shorts. Like it better than higher priced options
