While expensive, these wheels are the perfect all around wheelset for me. I use them with 28's on the road, but you can mount 32's on them if you're going to be hitting a ride with rough road or even occasional gravel. Additionally I've put 38c gravel tires on them and used them for gravel events on my gravel bike. So while they are super expensive, the fact that they can double as a road wheel and a gravel wheel sort of justifies the high cost. Plus, being an Oregonian I do like to support a local business (Chris King) and have a US manufactured wheel (ENVE). Could not be happier.
