In my opinion there is no Perfect tire .
With GP 5000 TT set up correctly for tubeless/Tubular it's Awesome with a little bit of road hazard luck .
No complaints with GP 5000 TT other than a side wall cut that I really have no control over .
FYI Don't try to seal side wall punctures with Flex seal tape .
Because it won't work .
Just Replace the tire .
Smaller tubeless punctures with muc off tubeless sealant works perfect ??
I purchased a set of Conti TdF TTT tires to race my 8th and final time @ Hawaii Ironman. While training, I experienced pinch flats on both front and rear wheels riding at my usual 75 psi/25mm tire width. The contact patch on these tires appears wider than on standard Conti 5000 GP @ the same pressure.When I increased to 90-100, the tires worked great. The sidewalls seem to be more supple - flexing more deeply - than Conti's standard 5000 GP tires. Road feel @ 90-100 psi for this 66kg rider is than same as 70-75.
Pricey, but superior to other Contis.
I got these to use for road racing only. They are the lightest Tubeless I know of. Were easy to get onto rims, pump, and seal. Raced the two Road Races at Natl Sr Games and won both.....and no flats!
Fast, light, smooth, low rolling resistance, seems durable too (The pavement around my home town is exceptionally poor. No flats so far, after a few hundred miles. This is a real bonus for such a fast tire) Expensive and worth it!
I�ve been running these and the S TR�s on two pairs of wheels. The mount easily enough and seated with a floor pump but I use a compressor because�well I can. The TT seem a little faster than the S TR�s but also seem to slightly higher pressures. In 2 years I�ve had zero flats on the S TR�s but 2 on the TT�s. Your mileage may vary.
I have been riding this tire for 2 weeks. So far I like it. Since it is still new, I cannot comment on the durability.
So far no problems!
