Ive been using these tires for years. They last all season and rarely puncture. For as long as these tires are sold, theyll be my choice.
Lasts fairly a long time but, sometimes cuts happen before the ware out dots disappear.

Vectran was good enough to go to mars. Also an excellent gas barrier. Once considered for plastic beer bottle as few plastic bottles are suitable for carbonation and freshness.

i've had one mysterious sidewall explosion, but many more 4000s that just work and roll through more glass than i'd expect without trouble. they ride great, and they're great value.
