Too small for my not-huge head. Despite stretching it over my head, it does not cover more than the tips of my ears. Sun protection is one of the main reasons I wear a skullcap. Returned and ordered a DeSoto, will see how that works.
Totally keeps sweat from running into my eyes. Pick up two new ones just before a Marin Headlands trip, temps in the 90's riding around Mt. Tam. Never felt over heated but got the benefit of no sweat running into eyes
The cap allows more air to blow through, and less sweat to accumulate while protecting my scalp from sun than my Headsweats caps. But the price is a bit steep.
I've worn the Castelli skull cap on several high humidity/hot days and it has done a good job of keeping my eyes and sunglasses clear. I think it works best if you place the front of the skull cap above the helmet headband.
Cap fits well under the helmet and adds a layer of protection from the sun. It also aids in keeping sweat out of your eyes. If you suffer from helmet hair this will keep you looking sharp.
Product was a bit tight at first but after some regular use it now fits pretty good.
Like most Castelli products works great, last a long time, reasonable cost.

Just as the title says, there is no more sweat in my eyes. Haven't been out on 90+ degree days yet, but it has worked everyday cooler than that to keep my vision clear
Great cap to keep the sweat off the brow, and give an edge with a slight chill out.
I've tried many skullcaps to keep the sweat off my brow and so far this is the best one out there. It fits tight and keep the sweat from dripping on my face as I ride long miles in the sun all summer long.

I do not like wearing anything under my helmet. I have lost most of my hair so I have no choice if I want to avoid the sun tan stripes. This skull cap is comfortable and it takes hours before I really feel it. Besides the castelli quality it fits the best of any skull cap I have purchased.
I'm bald so always wear a head covering to prevent sunburn and for comfort. Headsweats skull caps have alway been great but I bought this on sale to try. I have been very disappointed as it's too tight (one size fits all), too small (doesn't cover enough of my head), and doesn't have a good surface for absorbing sweat on the forehead or keeping my helmet in place. I rarely use it.
I have several skull caps from other companies and hate how when they get soaked I get sweat on my glasses. That is because they put a terry cloth patch on the forehead. The Castelli Skullcap is a sweat absorbing headband with an lightweight top. Sweat stayed away from my glasses and it was cool as temperatures reached low 80's. Good product.
This skullcap is hands down my new favorite. I am bald, so the flat seams and terrific fit are a big deal. The skullcap is comfortable, thin (doesn't interfere with helmet fit), and wicks moisture more effectively than any other skullcap I've used - and I've used many.
