Always love Castelli clothing. A well made short. Ive purchased before and they were well. Sizes are small. Im 59 155 and the large size is plenty tight
Good shorts but not quite enough padding
Road cycling with rides averaging beyond three hours. Monthly mileage is always above 900 miles. Love the KISS Air2 seat pad. Even though it's not top of the line I like it better than the top of the line pad.
As the title says, I'm getting leg blisters because of the gripper, recommended only for short rides like for 1 or 2 hours of riding. Giving 2 stars for good quality fabric because if the fabric aint good I'm only giving 1 star.
Good fabtic that holds up to hundreds of washes. They run a size small, so order up. The dados very good, not great. I use as a MTB liner on 40 mile rides and roads for 60-80 miles.a little sore, but ok.
Been using Castelli for years. One psir so old it is getting a bit thin but hasnt torn. The Competizione are nice. Wide band at leg opening so no gripper sicone that chafes. Size up one from normal.
Regarding sizing, Im 5-11 and 155 lbs, and tried both medium and large sizes. The medium was uncomfortably snug, so Im using a large, which is very comfortable, though maybe slightly large for me. But Im a casual rider and I dont like super tight shorts.
They fit well with not too much compression. Fabric is very well stitched and looks expensive.
The Castelli emblems came off. The fit good and are comfortable for my rides so far. I don't think they are going to last very long.
Love these shorts! They feel slightly thinner than my others but provide just as much if not more support and comfort. Worth the buy for sure.
