I have been doing a lot of mountain biking with my buddies, 50-70 miles with one water bottle cage. I would load 2 to 3 more in my back pockets. Now my pockets can been used for food and other tire supplies make a 4-6 hour mountain bike ride much more plesant.
Great for a ride. Color is easy to spot. Is not cumbersome, as with any Camelbak they withstand a beating. Got in a crash and the thing held up awesomely just minimal scratches and the bladder is like nothing happened.
I bought this Camelbak Classic, but wish I'd bought another in the Mule line. Its 2.5 Liter listed reservoir seems a LOT smaller than the 3 Liter my old MULE held. Also, this pack is more finicky to seal properly.
I get heat exhaustion from exertion and heat. I carry water on my back and have room in the bottom pocket for electrolyte powders. I'm 78 and the pack is not heavy.
Lightweight, rugged and highly reflective makes this a winner all the way
Working well for being a roadie on long hot Louisiana days..
Always have enough water, bright color show's up no matter what color jersey you have on, very comfortable to have on your back.
